Pure Teas, hot or cold, are a delight

Whilst iced teas have become more popular in the UK over recent years, not everyone has yet been converted to the idea of taking their tea chilled. However, good teas are usually perfect to drink hot or cold. In fact, our teas are delightful when just simply prepared and allowed to chill in the fridge, which should come as welcome news given that the sun is finally warming up for summer.

Let us suggest one great way to prepare our White Teas.

  • Take a large jug (1000ml) and fill it with cold water (ideally filtered to remove impurities which could affect the taste of the tea)
  • Add 2 or 3 spoons of our silver needle bai hao white tea, and stir gently
  • Let it sleep in the fridge for one night.

The next day you can serve it over ice, with a slice of lemon and enjoy its sweet, fragrant and oaky taste.

This is a great way to quell your thirst on a warm summer’s day as well as a delicious way to increase your intake of antioxidants. It is also an ideal non-alcoholic option for barbeques, weddings or summer drinks receptions as it is not loaded with sugar or the artificial sweeteners present in many other soft drinks.
