Celebrate with us, this New Year of The Dog. All this week we will offer to all our customers a few gifts, a tea strainer, a tea bag and a tea sample, with any purchase on line. Wishing our friends and customers a very auspicious New Year, in good health and high spirits

The Dog is the eleventh of all zodiac animals. According to one myth, the Jade Emperor said the order would be decided by the order in which they arrived to his party. Monkey, Rooster and Dog were in another country, helping a god defeat evil spirits. After, they set off to the party together. Because they arrived at the same time, the Jade Emperor went by the order they met the god in the other country. Thus, Dog became eleventh.
The Dog is also associated with the Earthly Branch (地支—dì zhī) xū (戌), and the hours 7–9 in the evening. In the terms of yin and yang (阴阳—yīn yáng), the Dog is yang.

Our Farmers

Tea Farmers
Zhu Rong
Yunnan Province

Zhu Rong and his wife run a very traditional tea farm in the Mountains of Yunnan in a village called Monku. Situated in the West side of China, the farm is walking distance to the four bordering countries: Nepal, Burma, Thailand, and India.

"In this region, the older the trees, the better the taste of the tea leaves - and our trees are over 800 years old."

In China, these old trees are also venerated as Heavenly Beings, and in many places worshipped as a source of goodness and good health. They produce the famously known Puerh Teas. Due to this pristine location, completely isolated from industries and roads, the quality of the teas are simply superb and hopefully it will remain as such for many years to come.

Tea Farmers
Xiao Yang
Fujian – Zhan he

Xiao Yang comes from a family of tea growers from this small part of the Fujian Province where teas were mostly used for export due to their exceptional quality. This area has two different tea grounds, a lower and higher and of course the higher you go the better the quality of the teas. Xiao Yang was fortunate to be born in a family that was allocated land right on the top.

"When I wake up in the morning the clouds are still covering the fields and I joke we work in the Heavens"

All the teas are hand picked, Xiao Yang says that one can immediately notice the difference in the taste and look of the leaves compared with machine harvested. With all the technology that we know, nothing has replaced the gentle touch of the hand when plucking a tea leaf.

Tea Farmers
Xiao Wu
Fujian – Long Yuan

Xiao Wu was born in Long Yuan – Fujian Province where her family has been cultivating teas since 1750. This is truly a family business where all the family since the beginning is engaged in harvesting, preparing and more recently selling. Now most growers have a family member selling in the big cities.

"For me this is not work. I enjoy coming to work, having good teas and chatting with friends and customers"

They are extremely proud of their uninterrupted life of growing teas and have won prizes for their Alpine Oolong – Iron Godess - Jie Guan Yin tea.

Love the teas, thanks so much! I wasn't drinking black tea before this, but now I am!

Just a short note to let you know that the teas I ordered from you and gave to my nephew as part of his birthday present were greatly appreciated. He really liked them and has said that they are so fresh.

Love your green teas, so fresh and so good for me.

Beautiful Silver Needle White Tea. The taste is wonderful and it also helps me relax during my working day. I always drink it after eating my lunch as it stops me wanting anything sweet. Therefore, it helps me to watch my weight. It has been an integral part of my daily routine.

I am very much enjoying the 'black' tea, which I tried with my last order, and of course my lovely green teas, to which I sometimes add fresh ginger and lemon - delicious. Oolong is a must every afternoon - a welcome respite if I am busy in the garden.

Really delighted to have discovered InNature teas. Quality teas like I've never tasted before. I carry a box with me everywhere I go as most other teas are disappointing by comparison!

I have tried a few kinds of your teas and my favourite one is the Lotus Tea. Recently I have also tried the Natural Oolong tea simply because I couldn’t find the Lotus tea and well let’s just say I have a new favourite!

It is so good to at last find a reliable supplier of high quality teas. Having started with green teas, I now enjoy trying new teas such as Puerh, and Oolong that aren't readily available on the high street.
