CAFFEINE LEVELS IN TEAS
On average there are in a normal cup 30 mg of Caffeine in Teas x 110 mg in Coffee. This is scientifically tested. Furthermore, the caffeine in teas are easier to dispel, due to its nature, quickly eliminated by the body fluid. Of course, this may vary depending in the way one prepares the teas.

CAFFEINE IN TEAS – WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW…
- Caffeine occurs naturally in the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, so all teas contains some caffeine.
- Hotter water and longer steeping time will draw out more caffeine in brewed tea. Cooler water and shorter steeping time extract less caffeine—think green , black or white tea.
- Tea is the only plant that contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes calm and relaxation. It works in synergy with the stimulant caffeine to induce a state of mindful alertness.
